The future of humans as we know

As most people would know, life forms evolve to suit their surroundings better. We know from Darwin that fish came out of water, evolved lungs, lived on land blahblahblah.

We also know that most species, when they lose the ability to effectively use one part of their body, another part(s) of the body will be more developed.

Since technology has improved so much that we do not need to use our physical body so much, it is only time that someone comes up with a machine which we can attach to ourselves, to replace our physical functions. Of course, there must be some neuro device which links our robotic or even virtual counterparts back to our brain so we can feel the good feelings.

So if we add 2 and 2 together, it is likely that in the future we will evolve to a being which lies down all the time to think, possibly very large heads, containing very intelligent brain mass.

I am proud to say that I am in the midst of this preparation of evolution, namely:

  • Thinking while lying down,
  • Attempting to do as much work as possible while lying down,
  • Physically moving as little as possible,
  • Pretending to be really smart.

If in the unfortunate event that I am indeed wrong, which I am rarely, the next most likely thing that will possibly happen is that the improvement of technology is not evolving as fast as it should be (Not likely at all, considering Moore says that computing power will double every 18 months) is:

  • Humans will be fatter due to the minimal usage of bodily functions due to advances in technology

Which once again, I am proud to say that I am also involved in this prestigious cutting edge discovery with my belly.
